"LOST SOUL"

A child's laughter floating
   on the wind
The blissful sound of pure
   innocence
Life is what I should have
   given you
One hasty choice is how
   it all ended
My dreams have become
   your home
A faceless baby I'll never
   hold
I can feel your precious
   soul weeping
I cannot change this
   please forgive me

"THE CANDLES ARE LIT, THE BELL HAS TOLLED"

The candles are lit, the bell has tolled
The crisp morning air, just a little bit cold
Along the dirt road, down to the church
I drive along, for peace I search
And the candles are lit, the bell has tolled

Quietly we sit, our hands we fold
I came in alone, trying to be bold
Such beautiful music, the organist did play
I'm no longer alone, I found a family today
And the candles are lit, the bell has tolled

A wonderous family, with hearts of gold
If I feel down, there's always a hand to hold
Brothers and sisters, you've helped me to see
No matter where I am, the Lord is with me
And the candles are lit, the bell has tolled

"OF MAN AND NATURE"

What's become of this world
War ruins
Nature destroys
Help me understand why

A fallen soldier
Far from home
A mother searching
For her child

No one is free
Senseless killing
No one is untouched
Nature rages

As the gunfire echos
Remember God has a plan
As the earth crumbles and quakes
Remember it is in Gods hands

Hope you enjoyed reading these as much as I enjoyed writing them.
